Classroom Management Plan
Classroom Policies/Procedures
Be Prompt: You are expected to be in the classroom when the bell rings at the start of class. If you are not in the classroom you are tardy. You should come to class with a pencil (pens are not acceptable) everyday. As soon as you come into class, you should access your materials and be ready to start learning at the bell.
If you are tardy, you will receive a verbal warning and it will be marked in Schoolview. After three tardies, and each tardy thereafter, detention will be assigned. (Every 3 tardies counts as 1 day absent.)
Only one student is allowed out of the room at a time. You may only leave with a pass from a teacher during work time.
You need to be in your seat ready to learn at the start of class. At the end of the hour, I will dismiss you from your seat. There will be NO LINING UP at the door.
Be Responsible: Cell phones are not to be used during class. If they are being used, they will be confiscated and brought to the office.
Be Attentive: When the teacher is talking, you need to stop and give your full attention to her. If another student has been called on to speak, you need to give that students your full attention.
Be Considerate: Always respect the people, equipment and furnishings in this room. You need to adjust your voice level to suit the activity, follow directions the first time they are given and observe all rules in the student handbook.
If YOU choose to break a rule:
First time: Warning to correct the discussed behavior-possible detention
Second time: See the teacher after class-possible detention
Third time: Sent to the office and contact home

-Chromebooks must remain under your desk unless you are instructed to take them out.
-Chromebooks are only to be used for Reading related activities.
